Basic CCW Required Course & Qualification
Required Class and Range Qualification
All applicants for a California CCW are required to complete this course. We offer it several times a month. Please call us to find the best date and time for you. 760-340-4866.
Part One - Classroom
Conducted at our location, the class part of the requirements is taught in two session, over two days. You only need to bring your identification and payment. We will tell you everything else at that time..
Part Two - Range Qualifications
On a subsequent day, we will take you to the range, for the second three-hour session, to qualify with each of up to six firearms you want to list on your permit. We will give you all the details, during the classroom session.
Firearms Proficiency Training
If you are a new or inexperienced shooter, we also offer a beginner class with our best instructor, for just $150. He teaches in the class and then takes you to the range with a number of our firearms.
Scope of Qualification Certification
We are approved to teach and qualify you for California and for a non-resident Arizona CCW. The combination allows you to carry in 39 states.

CCW Center - Full Service
Riverside County Issued CCW Permit, Valid Throughout California
Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco is a believer in the rights of Californian's of good character and temperament to be able to carry a concealed firearm for the purpose of protecting themselves, their families and other innocent citizens from armed violent criminals.
Since taking office in January 2019, Sheriff Bianco has completely updated and improved the CCW application and approval process. As part of that plan, he has approved Guns of Distinction, to conduct the required classroom instruction and range qualification..
We can either provide you the classroom and range qualification only, or we can provide you complete assistance in properly preparing your application. Our V.I.P. service includes everything but your mandatory interview in Riverside, at the Ben Clark Training Center and your completing of our training , which is a one day class and a range qualification.
Our classes and range qualifications are in smaller groups, with greater attention to each student. Though we are strong advocates of citizens's rights to carry concealed firearms, for their protection, we take very seriously our obligation to make sure you are ready to be responsible CCW Holders.
You will need to collect the following documents to accompany your application. If you are missing any, we will help you get copies. We will scan them all and make sure that you have everything you need:
Certified Copy of your Birth Certificate.
Valid California Driver License or Identification Card, showing your actual current residence address.
Two forms of Proof of Residency. We will help you with this.
If you are former military you will need a copy of your DD-214.
If you are a Resident Alien, you will need your I-94 number.
If you have naturalized, you will need your Naturalization Documents.
If you use your profession as a basis for your need, you will need to provide copies of professional and/or business licenses.
